During the 2019 performing arts and creative products fair, new partnership directions appeared for Baotietie and Zongzi Hero. Xinmin Evening News reported that Youyou Culture held partnership talks at the fair, covering commemorative badges and other products based on the characters.

This case brings animated characters into objects people can collect and use. The characters' recognisability, their links to food culture and product design all need to be considered together when a brand moves into physical products.

This record shows that the relationship between characters and audiences can go beyond watching a film. A gift, an everyday item or a keepsake can be where someone first meets a character and remembers its story.
