At the 2018 China International Jewelry Fair, the Shanghai Huanglong Jade Art Museum showed pieces including “Longteng Sihai” (Dragons Over the Four Seas). Coverage focused on the images formed by natural grain, and how these visual features could become material for later creative work.

According to the introduction at the time, the museum planned to draw patterns from its pieces, develop creative products, and mentioned making a concept film. This showed another creative path: first observe a natural object, then try to turn its forms and associations into stories that can be shared.

In UUCMM's history, this exhibition connects art collecting, visual design and film exploration. Starting from the grain of a stone and asking how it can be seen and remembered is what is most worth keeping from this idea.
